It aims to foster innovation while promoting trust, accountability, safety, transparency, and ethical AI practices across sectors.
Voluntary AI Code of Ethics
The AI Code of Ethics (AICE) is a voluntary, non-binding guideline that supports organisation in translating Malaysia's ethical AI principles into practical, real-world implementation. It serves as an operational bridge between the Seven (&) AI Principles outlined in the National Guidelines on AI Governance and Ethics (AIGE) and the design, development, and the deployment of AI systems across sectors, while taking into consideration the evolving landscape of AI ethical principles, including future sector - specific and national principles as they emerge.
Boardroom Primer for AI Adoption & Governance
The Boardroom Primer to AI Adoption and Governance represents one of the early steps in implementing initiative E14, AI-Aware Stewardship. It translates the direction of AI Nation 2030 into practical guidance to help boards oversee the adoption and governance of AI responsibly.
The Primer is a voluntary resource designed to help board members, directors and senior management in Malaysia exercise more effective oversight of AI adoption and governance. It is suitable for organisations at different stages of AI adoption, from those beginning to explore the use of AI to those already deploying AI systems across various business functions.
